Test Results

Blood/X-ray/MRI results (please ring after 12:00)

Blood results can be obtained by booking telephone consultation with the doctor. A member of the staff may contact you urgent if blood results are found abnormal needing immediate attention.

X-ray and Ultrasound results may take 2 to 3 weeks so please give us sufficient time before enquiring about these results.

If an x-ray or ultrasound is found abnormal by hospital staff and needing immediate attention of a general practitioner the result is faxed through to the surgery. A member of the staff will contact you to book an appointment with the doctor.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
